Mona Pardeshi

Hello, my name is Mona Pardeshi and I am T1 Diabetic for 17 years. I am glad to share my wonderful experience and journey with the Nityaasha family. When I was 15, I was enrolled in Nityaasha and they welcomed me in their family. They not only helped me with free medical aid but also guided me on how to keep myself healthy.

The motto of Nityaasha was not only providing free medical aid to T1D children but also educating the parents, schools, college about what is T1D and how we can deal with it in different situations.
Coming back to the experience with Nityaasha, in 3 years of my journey I learned many things from Nityaasha Family, I learned how to manage my blood sugar levels during the festival times, and during traveling, how to keep my insulin safe in a suitable temperature in the refrigerator which I was unaware before joining Nityaasha.

The staff of Nityaasha explained each and every small detail as if they were teaching their own child suffering from this disorder. We enjoyed many things like picnics, Christmas parties, World Diabetes Day, etc. Nityaasha staff always encourage and motivate the children to complete their education.

After phasing out from Nityaasha I volunteered my services to the foundation. In that period we all enjoyed and worked together in a team. After phasing out I felt that I won’t be able to meet this family so often, but I was wrong. Though I phased out, t I am still a part of the Nityaasha family, they still invite me to every event and welcome me with loving and warm hugs.

Finally, I thank the Founder & Trustees for giving me support and making me a part of this wonderful foundation. It helped me build a new identity and opportunity to share my experience and feelings for the Nityaasha family. There are many incidences to share about Nityaasha Foundation but I am ending my experience here.

I miss you all a lot, and also I wish you a very happiest and successful new year 2020. Love you all.
