Nityaasha Foundation this year observed World Diabetes Day with the theme “Women & Diabetes – our right to a healthy future”. The day becomes more special as on this day we celebrate children’s Day in India.
Living with Type 1 Diabetes is really tough. It is not easy to cope with the daily ongoing challenges as one needs to constantly monitor blood sugar levels and take insulin injection accordingly.
The Medical Social Workers at Nityaasha plays an important role in making the life of Type 1 Diabetic children and their families a little easier by providing counseling and information, creating awareness about the disorder. We closely interact with the children and their families, assuring to keep each conversation confidential and develop a strong understanding and rapport.
We motivate the Type 1 Diabetes children enrolled with us and help them to lead a healthy life. It is an honor to be a part of Nityaasha Foundation that gives us an opportunity to contribute our responsibilities towards the needy children.
